First Email from the MTC 8.4.14

Well, first of all, don’t mind my spelling. Haha. I will just type and not even look at the screen so I can type all that I can.

I got here and it was sweet. I actually walked in with my companion. Ah- it was crazy! Yeah, we are both going to the same mission and so is my whole district. We are all going to Tempe, which is super weird they said. Ha! Elder Clark and I are getting along great. We are zone leaders and we start to actually do stuff on Wednesday. Ha! We have to wait until the other zone leaders are gone.

We are housed in the basement of one of the building so it is WAY nice to sleep! There, where it is cool. I saw Sister Hall and Elder Mason Miller yesterday during dinner.

And, ohhhhh my, let me tell you about the food here. It is so good! And there is like 5 different choices every meal.

I did not really have a hard time adjusting to the schedule here very much. Haha! But, I am super tired all the time. If I am not able to be in the conversation, then it is super hard to stay awake.

It is the coolest thing ever to learn so many things that had never even crossed my mind! I love to learn stuff. For example, they started to teach us how we should ask the investigator to baptism the first visit!!!! I about cried. But they opened the scriptures and read us that that is what Christ did when he was here and I am a representative of Christ! I love to learn and there is a lot to learn here!!!!! So yes, I love the MTC! Haha!

But the greatest thing ever here is the chocolate milk! No human can make a machine that produces such a godly taste! It is VERY desirable and delicious to the taste! The cocoa must be grown in the Garden of Eden and the cows must be milked by angels! And then put in the MTC!! (There is just no other explanation!

Anyway, Elder Clark is from Blackfoot, Idaho and so are 2 others from my district. I was able to go to the temple today and I loved it. My Branch President is super cool! Haha! He jokes like crazy! Hahahahaha! My comp wants to go take a nap. Haha! It is super funny, but my comp tucked me in last night and it was super Funny!!!! He slept like a baby!!!
